Who I am

Gretchen Krahn is an educator with more than two decades of experience in the classroom and in the garden. Her career includes designing and managing comprehensive school garden programs serving hundreds of students at the elementary and high school levels. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Masters in Elementary Education, Gretchen taught at the elementary level for 20 years. After earning certifications to teach Agriculture and Family Consumer Science in grades K-12, Gretchen transitioned to teaching high school agriculture and introductory cooking, planning and managing a school garden where produce grown by students was used in farm to table experiences in the classroom.
